Vienna's ARA is one of those rare solo projects that operates entirely on its own terms. Founded by Schnee in 2020 in the Ottakring district of Vienna, ARA has been carving out its own niche in the underground ever since. Following the debut demo Von der Nacht (2021) and three full-length albums — Gurre (2022), Blutroter Mond (2024), and Mutterseelenallein und aus eigener Kraft (2025) — Schnee now returns with Hohe Tannen, his fourth full-length and most experimental record yet.
